Our power raking service (aka de-thatching):
Power raking is a good idea if you have a ton of old thatch built up on your
lawn that is prohibiting the new growth to come in fully. Thatch build up over
time can restrict new growth by pressing the old growth down hard onto the
lawn. Thatch build up can be more prenounced if you do not bag your grass
clippings. Power raking is a lot like raking except that usually we can remove
a ton more old thatch build up that hand raking alone won't get. We normally
power rake only in the spring before the new growth overtakes the lawn.
